Rock Blankets as we define them are created by hand placing larger (2" and up) cobbles or angular rock in a bed of wet concrete. Once set in place and dry typically the joints between the stones are then mortared to provide a finished look.
This type of application works well for borders, driveways, & decorative concrete ribbons in the residential realm. It is also commonly seen in commercial/municipal applications such as road medians and roadside slopes
